I always enjoy boudoir sessions, and I hadn't had the chance to do one for a while until just recently with Rachel. She happens to have a natural classic beauty about her that radiates no matter what, but with a vintage style and gorgeous low lighting, that beauty truly came out in her boudoir session. Immense thanks to a lovely girl who doesn't need a photographer with a big camera to make her look as beautiful as she is. What amazing natural beauty!

{Lauren + Pipa}

Every year, a magical event occurs, lasting for seven weekends throughout the fall. There is no substitute for the wonder that's seen there, and the fantastical experiences that can be had during its season. What is it?

The Kansas City Renaissance Festival.

Filled with beggars, royals, wizards, jousters, and, of course, mischief and mayhem, the Festival also manages to bring to life every little girl's dream: faeries.

Covered in faerie dust and complete with enormous sets of wings, these ladies are truly the toast of the faire, and it just so happens that I had the opportunity to photograph two of them: Lauren and Pipa. Two of the sweetest girls you will ever meet, everyone should try to pay them a visit this faire season and take a day - or a whole weekend, even! - to enjoy what wonders the KC Renaissance Festival has to offer. We never miss it! And if you do decide to venture into the faire, keep an eye out, as I might be there with my camera in hand!
